The Defense Logistics Agency's mission is to provide best value logistics support to America's Armed Forces, in peace and war, around the clock, around the world. If service members eat it, wear it, drive it, shoot it, or burn it, chances are that DLA helps provide it. We also dispose of materiel and equipment that is no longer needed. All of this effort requires the work of 23,000 civilian and military employees. Their work is never done. By using proven business practices and strategies, DLA is continually re-engineering, reinventing and reforming the way we do business in order to provide best value solutions to our customers.
