I would like to thank the staff of Soldiers for a superlative job over the past three years I’ve had the privilege of being editor in chief.

Their ability to conduct continued and sustained excellence month after month is truly remarkable.

As I retire after more than 20 years of service, I can not even begin to express my profound gratitude to, and admiration for, this extraordinary group of people.
