SAN FRANCISCO, Philippines -- Villagers receive cartons
of Military Meals Ready to Eat (MREs) donated by the
U.S. embassy to assist the victims of severe flooding
and mud slides in the Leyte province of Central Philippines.
U.S. Pacific Command has provided a C-130 Hercules plane
to transport multi-national relief goods to the region.
