Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA)

To encourage the transfer of technology between the government and private sector, and enhance U.S. competitiveness, Congress passed legislation under the Federal Technology Transfer Act of 1986 (P.L. 99-502), that promotes technology transfer by introducing the Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) as a mechanism to increase federal laboratories' interaction with industry.

MicroMSI for Windows is a remote sensing imagery analysis program designed for use in introductory courses in remote sensing.  MicroMSI for Windows is in the public domain and may be freely redistributed for non-commercial purposes.

Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) Historic Mission

When space shuttle Endeavour touched down at Kennedy Space Center, Florida, on Feb. 22, 2000, it brought with it the most detailed and accurate height measurements of Earth ever gathered.The Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM), was a joint project of NIMA and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
