Welcome to the USS Arizona Memorial website. The National Park Service looks forward to working with you. To obtain a film permit application please contact Bradford Baker (808) 422-2771 ext. 123. In order to process your application the following information must be submitted: type of production, proposed dates and hours of filming, and number of participants. A minimum of four business days are required for permit consideration. All filming in the park must be conducted in such a manner that provides for the protection of park resources and for the positive experience of the visitor. In addition, film story lines must fall under the mission of the USS Arizona Memorial and the National Park Service. To ensure the Memorial is reserved as a place of reflection, filming on the Memorial is restricted to Beauty-roll. Interviews, and or scenes using models or props are restricted to the USS Arizona Memorial Visitor Center. Film permit applications will be evaluated using the following criteria: Will your activity help the National Park Service accomplish it’s public service/education objectives? Will your activities damage the park? Will your activities interfere with public use? Will your activities conflict with park operations? Will your film create safety hazards? Will your activity imply NPS endorsement of a product or service? Will your film mislead the public concerning national parks?
