An applicant SSN may be entered with or without the dashes. Once you have entered the SSN, pressing the submit button will initiate a search to see if the applicant is already on file. If a record is not found, you will be presented with a form to enter the applicant's initial information. If the applicant's SSN is found, the applicant's information will automatically be inserted into the form.
