The 23d Quartermaster Brigade trains over 23,000 students annually,
consisting of officers, warrant officers, NCOs, and enlisted personnel from the Army,
Navy, Air Force, and Marines, as well as foreign countries. The Brigade
enforces high standards of training and discipline; produces Quartermaster soldiers of
character who are physically fit, technically competent, highly disciplined, full of pride
and have a warrior spirit; prepares soldiers, marines and leaders to sustain U.S. Forces in
peace and in war. |
HHC
23d Quartermaster Brigade
mission is to provide command, control, administration, and logistical support for
soldiers assigned to the Command Group, Brigade Staff, AIT Graduate Holdovers
Quartermaster School and Noncommissioned Officers Academy (NCOA), operate the Brigade
consolidated arms room, and provide internal and external support to the
23d Quartermaster
Brigade. Provide administrative support, nonjudicial, and personnel service to the
NCOA. |
The
266th Quartermaster Battalion
commands and controls four AIT companies. It provides training for soldiers in MOS
training for unit supply and food service specialists for active and reserve components. |
The
262d Quartermaster Battalion trains
and provides support to soldiers in three AIT Training Departments: Petroleum and Water
Department, Aerial Delivery and Field Services Department, and the Mortuary Affairs
Center. |
The
244th
Quartermaster Battalion trains and provides support to four
Advanced Individual Training companies: Alpha, Golf, and Whiskey are
composed of soldiers training in the use of automated logistics
systems and in warehouse operations, and Mike whose soldiers train in
the field of unit supply.
The Battalion also
provides command and control to Echo Company. Echo Company is
responsible for officers attending the basic and functional courses. |
The Marine Corps Detachment provides
command, control, administrative and logistical support for a school detachment.
Provide
leadership, motivation and reinforcement of marine standards to enable marine students to
reach the fleet MOS trained and eager for new challenges. |
