Quartermaster AKO Knowledge Center

We have established a Quartermaster Knowledge Center on AKO.  This is part of the Quartermaster General's effort to enhance the Quartermaster Center and School's (QMC&S's) communication with Quartermasters in the field. 

The Quartermaster Knowledge Center contains files on Quartermaster History, QMC&S Significant Activities, Quartermasters in Iraqi Freedom, Quartermaster Warrant Officers and much more.

Here is how you get to our Knowledge Center:

1)  Log-on to your AKO Account at www.us.army.mil.

2)  Click on the “Collaborate” tab near the top middle of the page.

3)  Click on “Army Communities” on the left side of the page.

4)  Under “Army Communities” click on “TRADOC”.

5)  Under “TRADOC” click on “Quartermaster”.

6)  Under “Quartermaster” subscribe to the Quartermaster Knowledge Center (file cabinet with the word “Quartermaster”) by checking the box to the right of that Icon and then clicking on the “Subscribe” Icon in the tool bar above it.

7) You may also subscribe to the Supply Excellence Award and the Logistics Training Dept Knowledge Centers which are also in the Quartermaster Community.

8)  All of documents in the Knowledge Center and can be downloaded simply by double clicking on the name of the document.

This process may seem a bit complicated, but once you are subscribed to the Quartermaster Knowledge Center you will receive a notification through your AKO e-mail every time a new file is posted or updated.  Then you can download a file simply by clicking on link provided in the e-mail.
