The Personnel Lifecycle Unit Selection System (PLUS2)
gives Soldiers the opportunity to volunteer for assignment to
Units of Action (UA) as the Army moves to modularity.

For soldiers who have used ASK -- SAM
provides virtually instant capability for your assignment
manager and professional development NCO to identify all open
requirements you may be eligible for, provides the capabilities
to hone in on the most eligible soldiers and also identifies all
volunteers for a specific assignment location. |

The Enlisted Signal Branch, a member of the Combat Support Division
of EPMD, manages all the 30,000 + enlisted Signal Soldiers in 16
Military Occupational Specialties and numerous ASI's within our
Army. Our primary focus is supporting the readiness of the Army in
the Global War on Terror, the professional development of all our
Soldiers and
Noncommissioned
Officers, while meeting the personal goals and desires
of our soldiers.
The
Soldiers of the Signal Corps provide a wide multitude of services to
our Army; Mutiltimedia Illustrator (MOS 25M), Visual Information
Equipment Operator-Maintainer (MOS 25R), Combat
Documentation/Production Specialist (MOS 25V), Visual Information
Operations Chief (MOS 25Z), Radio Operator-Maintainer (MOS 25C),
Network Switching Systems Operator-Maintainer (MOS 25F), Cable
Systems Installer-Maintainer (MOS 25L), Microwave Systems
Operator-Maintainer (MOS 25P), Multichannel Transmission Systems
Operator-Maintainer (MOS 25Q), Satellite Communications Systems
Operator-Maintainer (MOS 25S), Satellite/Microwave Systems Chief
(MOS 25T), Signal Support Systems Specialist (MOS 25U),
Telecommunications Operations Chief (MOS 25W), Information Systems
Operator-Analyst (MOS 25B), Telecommunications Operator-Maintainer
(MOS 25D), and the Information Systems Chief (MOS 25Y) .

Senior Enlisted Promotion Boards
The Enlisted Records and Evaluation Center (EREC) located in
Indianapolis, Indiana, maintains senior NCO records. The DA Secretariat
for enlisted promotions is located at EREC and is responsible for all
Enlisted Promotion Board related functions. Their web site has board
schedules, eligibility, points of contact, and detailed instructions on
how to prepare for a Board. |
