08 April 2004 ITEMPO Update: A software change to the ITEMPO Online Transaction System has been implemented.  Effectively Immediately all event “start” and “omitted” transactions will include “Duty UIC” to identify the unit where the member is actually located while deployed. 

All transactions must be submitted ONLY via the Online System or via the Diary Message Reporting System (DMRS).  The ITEMPO Offline Transaction System is disabled until the Duty UIC upgrade in that software is completed. 

Refer to the ITEMPO Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and the new Online System User’s Guide (below) for detailed information and procedures.  The new Online System User’s Guide has been broken into 2 parts for easier downloading.

ITEMPO

Per existing legislation and policy, the deployment of all members of the armed services (Active and Reserve) is required to be tracked on an individual basis. Individual Personnel Tempo (ITEMPO) is the Navy’s program to track and manage deployment days away from homeport or unit.

This site provides a link to the NavPers/ITEMPO homepage via BUPERS Online (BOL),  the ITEMPO User Manual (in draft version), the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) and the ITEMPO NAVADMINs.

For the most complete information on policy and procedures, refer to both the User Manual and the FAQ’s. The FAQ’s contain the recent changes to ITEMPO policy and procedures.
