128-bit Encryption

Your browser probably came with 40-bit encryption already built in. Encryption is a process by which information is scrambled or coded in an attempt to hide it from someone that shouldn’t be seeing it. Unfortunately 40-bit encryption is too easy to unscramble. In an effort to protect the transactions that you will be sending to us we have implemented 128-bit encryption on our site. This provides an additional level of protection for your information.

You will need 128-bit encryption implemented on your browser to view the "EBIS" or transactional portion of our website. We require this because we understand the importance and sensitivity of the information that you will be sending to us or requesting from us. Every effort is made to ensure that your information is not compromised. We appreciate your understanding and assistance in this matter.

This is considered an upgrade to most browsers. It is generally offered free by the software vendors of respective browsers. Besides going directly to the vendor website, a good place to start your search for the necessary upgrade may be found within your browser. For instance most browsers both offer online support by clicking on the ’Help’ pull-down menu from within the browser. From here there is usually an option for online support. While this option will not take you directly to the 128-bit encryption upgrade it does generally get you to the browser version download site for your respective vendor. We hope this helps as we understand how difficult it can be at times to find the correct pieces to make all of this technology work.
