A New OPM ADR Course Offering:
Alternative Dispute Resolution - Innovative Conflict Management

Many organizations today are emphasizing the use of consensual methods of dispute resolution instead of using litigation or administrative procedures. This course explores a variety of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) techniques and current dispute applications. Participants actively engage in a series of workgroup exercises using real-world dispute scenarios. A variety of innovative conflict resolution techniques and methods are proposed, evaluated, and put into practice. Specific emphasis is placed on the effective use of alternate methods of resolving disputes in the workplace, presentations before third parties, and conflicts that develop between parties to a contract. Offered at OPM’s facility in Shepardstown, WV. Click here for details.
