List of DAEO Recognized Scientific, Technical, Education, or Professional Organizations IAW JER 3-206.b(3) as of 17 January 2003

NOTE: The fact that the following organizations have been recognized as scientific, technical, educational, or professional organizations for the purposes of co-sponsoring an event does not mean that co-sponsorship is appropriate for all future events. The head of the command or organization must, in each case, determine that the event is appropriate for co-sponsorship and meets the criteria of JER 3-206.b (1)-(2) and (4)-(5). For example, an event in which the co-sponsor NFE is simply being used to assist us with administrative arrangements would not be a proper event for co-sponsorship. Such administrative services must be acquired through the normal procurement channels. See JER 3-206.c.
