Application Procedures

The DIA Civilian Employment and Classification Division reviews and processes applications from individuals interested in a career with DIA. Applicants are placed in a entry/mid level candidate pool for consideration against current and/or future openings.

Resumes received will ONLY be considered for the entry/mid level candidate pool. If you are interested in student opportunities or positions at the senior grade level, please review vacancy announcements and apply directly on-line. Feel free to contact the Staffing and Recruitment Branch at (202) 231-4220 to discuss your career opportunities at DIA or to discuss reasonable accommodations for any part of the application and hiring process. Veterans' Preference: Applicants claiming 5 point preference must submit a copy of their DD-214, Certificate of Release from Active Duty, or other documentation which supports their claim. Applicants claiming 10 point veterans' preference must submit a Standard Form 15, Application for 10 Point Veterans', as well as the required documentation indicated on the form. This form will be requested at a later date to confirm your preference at present, identify your preference category on your resume.
