08 Jun 04 - DWCF FY 2004 and FY 2005 Billing Price Books. Changes have been posted to the DWCF FY 2004 and FY 2005 Price Books as of June 4, 2004.

04 Jun 04 - NIPRNET/SIPRNET DISA Cost Estimates. Effective today, DISA Direct Order Entry (DDOE) Telecom Request (TR) will include a DISA Cost Estimate when ordering NIPRNET or SIPRNET type service unless the rate is not outlined in the Defense Working Capital Fund (DWCF) FY04 or FY05 Billing Prices.

04 Jun 04 - Line of Accounting (LOA) Notice. Effective today, when creating a DDOE TR, all Program Designator Codes (PDCs) will be checked to ensure that a LOA exists for the operational service Fiscal Year. Notices will be posted within the TR. Once the TR is approved an email message will be sent to the Authorized Funding Officials (AFOs) and DITCO Financial Personnel when LOAs do not exist.

04 Jun 04 - Defense Message System (DMS) Functionality. The Central Address Directory (CAD) and the DDOE TR includes new capability to allow users to provide their organization and/or user DMS addresses.

11 May 04 - Elimination of the Maximum Limit Communication Service Authorization (CSA) (DD Fm 428)/Commercial Communications Work Order (CCWO) (DD Fm 1367). See DITCO NTC 03-04 for details.

08 Apr 04 - EMSS (IRIDIUM) Update. There are possible new costs associated with the purchase of new activated SIM cards, or the activation of currently inactive SIM cards. GENADMIN message, date time group 301449ZMAR04, subject, FUNDING OF ENHANCED MOBILE SATELLITE SERVICES (EMSS) provides details of the new costs. Questions concerning this change should be directed to the EMSS Service Manager at (703) 681-0504, DSN 761.

25 Mar 04 - Update to DITCO Circular 350-135-1. Defense Commercial Communications Acquisition Procedures, has been updated by Change 7, dated 15 Mar 04, to reflect changes to the various management reports required by DITCO. Pages affected by this change are Chapter 11, pages 11-1 through 11-2. Please refer to the 350-135-1 document located at http://www.ditco.disa.mil/corporatelibrary/home.asp.

19 Feb 04 - DISA Now Offers Contractual Assistance in the Preparation of the SIPRNet Connection Approval Package. CJCSI 6211.02B, Defense Information System Network (DISN): Policy, Responsibilities and Processes, 31 July 2003 directs that all requests for SIPRNet service undergo a Connection Approval Process (CAP). DISA customers now have the option of obtaining contractual assistance in the preparation of their CAP by contacting the Interdiction Support Branch (ISB). The ISB is able to provide CAP package development for individual sites with several options based on level of support while addressing each site’s unique needs.
