Headquartered in Del Mar Area
at Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California, the
I MEF Augmentation Command Element (I MACE) trains reservists
in Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) operations and
battle staff employment.
MISSON STATEMENT: The mission of the MACE is to augment the MEF Command Element (CE)
in order to assist, as directed, the MEF Commander in the performance of day-to-day peacetime engagements,
limited contingencies and sustained operations.
