“To analyze and facilitate the application of best
operational practices in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of
existing and emerging integrated logistics chain processes in support of MAGTF
warfighting capabilities.”
For nearly thirty years, the Field Supply and
Maintenance Analysis Office (FSMAO) program served as a field agency of
Headquarters Marine Corps and performed its mission exceedingly well. The evolving nature of expeditionary warfare
and sea-based logistics, however, requires an entirely new approach to
logistics chain management.

Despite the changes in the FSMAO mission and name the MCLCAT will continue to maintain the Supply and Maintenance Checklist.
