How do I get enrolled in ALMC courses?

Enrollment in ALMC courses is via a computer system- the Army Training Requirements and Resources Systems (ATRRS).  Access to ATRRS is password controlled and not available to students directly.   You submit your request for training to your training officer for entry into the system.

If your training officer and nominating command does not have access to ATRRS,  three copies of DD Form 1556 (including the student's social security number [SSN]) must be mailed to ARMY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT COLLEGE, ATTN DAS ATSZ ASO R, 2401 QUARTERS ROAD, FORT LEE VA 23801-1705, 55 days before the start date for entry into ATRRS. If the SSN is not provided, the student cannot be enrolled. An appropriate mailing address must accompany a reservation so that reporting instructions (student handbook) can be issued to the student.

Am I enrolled in a course?

You are enrolled in a course if you have a confirmed reservation on ATRRS.  When your training officer enters your request into the system, they will know right away if you have a seat based on a quota your command received or if you are on a wait status because your command did not have any quotas. Commands holding quota have until 46 days before the start date of the class to enter names against their seats.  If they don't enter a name before this date, referred to as the nomination due date, the seat is lost to them.   The seat is then up for grabs and ATRRS will automatically give the seat to the first name on a wait status based upon the date and time the request was entered into ATRRS.

May I get into a class after the nomination due date has passed?

Yes, if the class is not yet full.  Commands have until 46 days prior to the class start date to enter names against their quotas.  If they don't enter a name before this date, referred to as the nomination due date, the seat is lost to them.   The seat is then up for grabs and ATRRS will automatically give the seat to the first name on a wait status based upon the date and time the request was entered into ATRRS.

Are there any seats left in a course?

Your training officer will be your best source of real time data to determine seat availability.   They are able to view the course statistics at any given time and are capable of enrolling or submitting an application for you at the time they view the statistics.

Technically all seats for ALMC courses are filled in advance due to a quota system established in The Army Centralized Individual Training Solicitation Survey (TACITS) and implemented during the annual Structure and Manning Decision Review (SMDR) process.  However, in the current training year, commands have until 46 days prior to the class start date to enter names against their quotas.  If they don't enter a name before this date, referred to as the nomination due date, the seat is lost to them.   The seat is then up for grabs and ATRRS will automatically give the seat to the first name on a wait status based upon the date and time the request was entered into ATRRS.
