OSHA (2003, July). This eTool focuses on recognizing and controlling
common amputation hazards associated with the operation and use of
certain types of machines.

module was developed in cooperation with the Society of the Plastics Industry,
Inc. (SPI) as part of their alliance with OSHA.
Currently, it discusses guidelines and safety measures for horizontal
injection molding machines. There is also a virtual
tour of an injection molding machine available.
