Naval District Washington Visitor Parking Request

All visitors to the Washington Navy Yard must enter the facility through the O Street Gate, which is open Monday - Friday 0530 to 1800.  Visitor must report to the Pass and ID Office (433-3017) for their visitor badges and temporary parking permits.

Visitors (18 years and older) to the Washington Navy Yard are required to show  photo identification to gain access to the Yard.  Photo identification accepted are:

   - State Issued Non-Driver's Identification
   - Driver's License
   - Passport
   - Military Identification

In addition to the above, non-citizens of the United States must present one of the following:

   - Green Card
   - Residency Card
   - Work Authorization
   - Passport

Contractor parking on the Washington Navy Yard is dependent on their contractual agreement with Naval District Washington.

Privacy Act Statement:  This information is collected under authority of P.L. 89-564, Sec. 401 Title 23, U.S. Code Highway Safety Act of 1966.  The information will be used to register and mark non-government motor vehicles operated aboard Department of Navy Installations.  Routine uses include traffic, parking and security management; certification that insurance and vehicle inspection requirements are met, and identification of vehicles involved in accidents, felonies, etc.  While disclosure of the information is voluntary, a privately owned vehicle may not be registered for use aboard a DON installation with it. 

Registration decalcomania is for official use of the holder designated hereon.  Use or possession except as prescribed is unlawful and will make the offender liable to penalty.

Requestee certifies:

   1. To abide by all traffic, parking and security regulations.

   2. To submit to search of their vehicle as may be ordered by competent authority.

   3. That their insurance policy meets the minimums established by the Department of the Navy, and/or the state or locality where the vehicle is operated.

   4. That their vehicle has satisfactorily met inspection requirements of this state or locality, where required.

   5. That they understand that the government has no liability for loss or damage to negligence of employees on official duty.
