Naval District Washington Application for Visitors for Visitor's Badge

All visitors to the Washington Navy Yard must enter the facility through the O Street Gate, which is open Monday - Friday 0530 to 1800.  Visitor must report to the Pass and ID Office (433-3017) for their visitor badges and temporary parking permits.

Visitors (18 years and older) to the Washington Navy Yard are required to show  photo identification to gain access to the Yard.  Photo identification accepted are:

   - State Issued Non-Driver's Identification
   - Driver's License
   - Passport
   - Military Identification

In addition to the above, non-citizens of the United States must present one of the following:

   - Green Card
   - Residency Card
   - Work Authorization
   - Passport

Authority:  5 U.S.C. 301 and OPNAVINST 5530.14B authorizes the collection of this information.  Purpose:  The primary use of this information is by physical management officials to maintain all aspects of proper access control, including issuance and replacement of identification badges/passes, retrieve passes, maintain visitor statistics and collect information to adjudicate access.  Routine Uses:  Disclosure of the information may be made to designated contractors, federal agencies and foreign governments for the purpose of granting Navy officials access to their facilities.  Blanket Routine Uses:  Certain "blanket routine uses" of the records have been established that are applicable to every record system maintained with the Department of Defense unless specifically stated otherwise within a particular record system.  These additional blanket routine uses of the records are available upon request.  Disclosure:  Furnishing this information is voluntary; however failure to do so may result in not being issued an identification badge/pass.
