FY 2005 Civilian Training & Development Guide
|
This guide contains all training and development opportunities
offered by the Air Force Civilian Career Programs. It is
intended for employees on Career Program Covered Positions,
employees who are
eligible for Career Program
Positions, and PALACE Acquire and Copper Cap Interns. (The exception being those individuals
interested in applying for Squadron Officer School and Air and Space
Basic. )
The Civilian Career Management Directorate, HQ AFPC/DPK, is
responsible for developing and maintaining this guide. It is to
be used in the Career Enhancement Plan (CEP) survey process, which assists the career programs in projecting their training
requirements for the upcoming year. The survey process starts in
March 04 and should be
completed
by Jun 04.
Effective immediately, Career
Program registration is no longer required. Individuals
who aren’t registered may contact the base to pull an individual CEP.
All employees who are eligible to compete for career program positions
may now submit a CEP and be eligible for career program training.
If you do not meet the career program eligibility requirements
you should contact your base Civilian Personnel Training Office
for developmental opportunities.
Air Force Manual 36-606, Volume 1, 1 July 1995, outlines the management and
administration of Civilian Career Programs.
