The purpose of the Emergency Data System (EMDS) Web Application is to
provide appropriated Air Force Civilian employees the capability to update
the required information for Next-of-Kin (NOK) notification in the case of
any
emergency! This extremely important form is to be used by you to
show the names and addresses of your spouse, children, parents, and any
other person(s) you would like notified if you become a casualty or for
any other emergency.
Please remember, It's
your responsibility to keep this form current!
Only the member will have
update/change capability to the data on the NOK emergency form, which will
be stored in our EMDS Personnel Automated Records Information System
(PARIS) library. The CPFs, HQ AFPC/DPC and HQ AFPC/DPW will access
the EMDS library through CyberDOCS. Access to EMDS will be through
our AFPC Secure Web Application and you will use the same User_Id and Password that you currently
use to access all our secure AFPC Web applications.
All bases have completed the required Impact & Implementation
(I&I) bargaining. All current employees now have access
to the EMDS application.
Please Note: With some older Web Browsers the EMDS
form does not display the correct character set. If this
happens, please see our
help file to fix your Web Browser. The
data you entered on the form is correct on the database, it's
only the display function that needs the fix. Thank You.
