Welcome Aboard
MISSION STATEMENT: To support the CECOS mission and to serve the needs of the Civil Engineer Corps as both a technical and professional library as stated in NAVSCOLCECOFF INST 5070.1G.
In addition, Naval Facilities Institute faculty, staff and students as a whole have access to the library facilities and services within the time and materials constraints available.

The library contains several collections within the general collection.

Engineering and contracting reference books provide resources for construction and contracts training.

Environmental Protection collection supports the Environmental Protection Division.

CEC PROFESSIONAL READING is a collection tailored to reflect Navy core values, leadership and work/life experiences.

The Navy Professional Reading List promotes professional and personal growth.

A collection of video and audio tapes are available for checkout.

Magazines, newspapers and journals are available for recreational and professional reading.

A special collection contains books, pamphlets, documents, and memorabilia of Admiral Ben Moreell, CEC, USN. He is known as the father of the Seabees and the collection reflects his life and how he earned that name and his accomplishments in and out of the navy.

A thesis repository contains graduate school master theses of the Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) officers. These are available as a resource for students throughout the CEC community and others who have a need.

Library hours are 0800-1630, M-F. The library and its resources are available to all who attend classes and to those who live or work on the base.

Materials may be acquired by mail or phone or on an Interlibrary Loan basis through OCLC.
