Application Hosting
The NIH Computer Center provides full-service application hosting (including Web site hosting) on secure, well-managed, central servers (Windows, Unix or OS/390). In addition, CIT offers co-location services for customer-owned servers both on-campus at the data center and off-campus in northern Virginia. Please see our rates. Customers from NIH and other government agencies have run their computer applications on our servers for over 30 years. CIT provides important services—software upgrades, hardware maintenance, capacity management, backup and recovery services, and full technical supportso that our customers' applications can run smoothly and deliver important services to their users. CIT hosts applicationsincluding Web and database applicationson our OS/390, Unix, and Windows servers in the CIT data center on the NIH campus.
