(2002, 2003, 2004) Welcome to Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activity (SIMA) Pascagoula, located on Mississippi’s historic Gulf Coast and home to one of the Atlantic Fleet’s finest ship repair facilities. SIMA Pascagoula Sailors are highly motivated and dedicated professionals who exemplify Navy core values. Two hundred and twenty five Sailors comprise Team SIMA and each Sailor goes above and beyond to ensure our ships are operationally ready. SIMA is organized into eight departments, repair, planning and estimating, quality assurance, safety, supply, information systems, training and admin. Not only does SIMA support our home ported assets, but also provides much-needed repairs to ships transiting in the Gulf Coast Region. SIMA, also, provides support and leadership, to NAVSTA Pascagoula, as well as the surrounding community. Leadership on the waterfront and leadership in the community are the pillars on which SIMA stands.
