Navy Shore-Based Oracle Database Enterprise License Agreement


On 29 September 2004, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Acquisition Management) and the Department of the Navy Chief Information Officer issued a joint policy memorandum regarding Oracle database acquisition. This policy places restrictions on the procurement of Oracle database licenses and maintenance support by Navy shore-based activities.

Information Assurance Scholarship Program


The Information Assurance Scholarship Program (IASP) offers masters and doctorate degrees in Information Assurance-related disciplines. These scholarships, which cover the cost of tuition, fees, and books, are being offered to DON civilian and military members. Degrees can include Biometrics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, Business Management or Administration, and other areas – with an Information Assurance focus.
