Our MissionFleet Area Control and Surveillance Facility, San Diego (FACSFAC San Diego) is tasked to support the combat readiness of the Pacific Fleet Air, Surface and Subsurface units in all warfare areas by providing air traffic control services and managing off-shore operating areas and instrumented ranges.
Command ProfileFACSFAC San Diego is responsible for the management and scheduling of designated military offshore operating areas in Southern (W-291) and Northern (W-260, W-283, W-285, and W-513) California. FACSFAC San Diego is the single point of contact with the FAA for the coordination of Eastern Pacific carrier flight operations that enter and/or impact the National Airspace System. We are designated the Eastern Pacific Sub-Region military Search and Rescue executive agent. We also provide commercial air services via Flight International. Fleet warfare readiness training and target services are provided by Southern California Offshore Range (SCORE), a department of FACSFAC San Diego. Notice: This is a U.S. Government Web Site 1.
