Civilian Field Activities
(CFA)

Civilian Field Activities (DPFFOH) provides guidance and operational field assistance to Civilian Personnel Flights (CPFs), civilian personnel functions at the major commands, direct reporting units, and field operating agencies. Prepares and issues Air Force Instructions (AFIs) and Air Force Manual (AFMANs) on civilian personnel policies and procedures. Develops and manages CPF performance metrics, and performs field assessment/assistance visits. Analyzes results of field visits and automated reports to determine program areas needing assistance or special attention. Provides daily guidance and assistance in the areas of affirmative employment, training and employee development, performance management, position classification, and employee and labor relations. Conducts special studies or field visits as requested by higher headquarters.
