It is Air Force policy that SCPDs should be
implemented as positions are established or filled; therefore, the library should be your
first stop for developing Core Personnel Documents (CPDs). If an SCPD or
COREDOC
is not
available, you will need to develop your own CPD by using the Air Force Template.
Note to Air Force Users: If editing of an SCPD is required, the
existing SCPD number should be used, as long as the changes made do not
affect the pay plan, title, series, grade, or staffing patterns of the
position.
Headquarters Air Force functional offices are active participants in
development of SCPDs and unless there are significant differences in
duties and responsibilities, support implementation of SCPDs to all
like positions in the Air Force. SCPDs may be applied once mutually
agreed upon by the supervisor and servicing classification
specialist.
