Mission Statement

The Pipeline and Trainer Assignments branch (DPAOT) is responsible for the assignment and training schedule from graduation of Undergraduate Flight Training (UFT) to first permanent duty location for Joint/Specialized Undergraduate Pilot and Navigator Training (JSUPT, SUPT, & JSUNT), Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT), and Air Battle Manager (ABM) graduates.   The branch members use HQ Air Force pilot, navigator, and ABM distribution plans as well as AF and MAJCOM approved quotas for major weapons system initial flight qualification, centrifuge, land/water survival, and Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals (IFF) training.   DPAOT is responsible for wing level instructor pilot and navigator assignments to Air Education and Training Command (AETC), and USAF Academy flying positions.   Assignment execution and distribution of personnel resources occurs through coordination with HQ Air Force, AETC, USAF Academy, and other MAJCOM staff.   Also, DPAOT provides special flying board support for Weapons Instructor Course, Test Pilot School, active duty UFT, and USAF Astronaut nomination board.
