2003 Assessments Statistics
Assessment Guidance:
Below
you will find our methods for assessing the MPF’s. We have worked hard
to pick relevant data to measure, in this case confirmation of arrival,
overdue arrivals and separation actions. We chose these because
accountability of personnel is our primary job.
In addition they are pay effecting and have a large impact across
the Air Force. We have put great thought into making this process as fair
as possible, and while there is no perfect way to do this, we believe this
process has good balance. We have left nothing hidden in the way this is
done and are presenting
it here so you can understand the process.
This assessment is a work in progress and we will continue to refine as
needed.

Assessment
Definitions:
Confirmation of Arrival
Members whose arrival has not been confirmed within five duty days of
their Date Arrived Stations (DAS) (or declared as an overdue arrival/PTI 211
if the RNLTD has expired). The only members excluded from the tally will be
those identified to AFPC through the case management system (CMS), within
five duty days of their DAS or expired RNLTD, as unresolvable at the MPF
level.
E53 TRANSACTION TIMELINESS
Members who do not have an E53 transaction on file
at least 10 days prior to the date of separation. The only members excluded
from the tally will be those identified to AFPC through the case management
system (CMS), prior to the DOS expiration, as unresolvable at MPF level.
TDY Reporting
We receive records for TDY history via our DFAS
interface. This provides a baseline to determine if corresponding duty
status updates were accomplished. Statistics are developed based on the
total number of TDY records compared to those records that do not contain a
duty status update.
