Account Officials Can Access Web Sponsor via the NIH Login
NIH account officials can access Web Sponsor using their NIH Login userid and password (instead of their Titan userid and password)from the Web page [http://websponsor.cit.nih.gov/nihlogin]. You will first be authenticated through the NIH Login, which requires the user name and password used to log on to the network. This new option is only available to account officials who are NIH employees.
When you use the NIH Login, Web Sponsor validates your request by matching your NIH IDthe ten-digit numbers at the bottom of NIH ID badgeswith your Titan userid. If you have more then one Titan userid authorized for Web Sponsor, you will be prompted to select the one to be used—you may select a different userid each time you access Web Sponsor via the NIH Login.
What to Do If Authentication Fails
Authentication via NIH Login will fail if your NIH ID has not been added to your Web Sponsor customer record. To remedy this, log in to Web Sponsor, click on Change Customer Information under "Customers."
On the next page, specify your userid or name. Complete your customer record and click "Submit Request." Once your customer record has been updated, you can access Web Sponsor via NIH Login.
