Long-Term Programs
Breeding Bird Survey – Monitoring the status of breeding bird populations in the United States and Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Wildlife Service: data, analyses, analytical software, information for participants
Museum Collections – Acquisition and curation of scientific reference specimens (in partnership with the Smithsonian Institution)
North American Amphibian Monitoring Program - a collaborative effort among regional partners and the USGS to monitor populations of vocal amphibians using a calling survey technique
Northeast Amphibian Research and Monitoring Initiative - intensive, long-term monitoring and related research on pond-breeding and stream-breeding amphibians on Department of Interior lands throughout the northeastern United States
