Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)

The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 5 United States Code (USC) 552, allows you to seek access to Executive Branch agency records, such as those held by the Department of the Navy. Secretary of the Navy Instruction 5720.42F, Department of the Navy Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Program, governs this program and is codified at 32 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), part 701.

It is the policy of NAVSUPSYSCOM to make the maximum amount of information concerning our operations and activities available to the public.
