Mission:

DISA TRANSCOM has the primary responsibility to support the Commander, United States Transportation Command, by providing responsive, high quality information systems and services support through local management of the DISA assigned portion of the Global Information Grid (GIG). DISA TRANSCOM oversees and integrates all DISA support for USTRANSCOM. Additionally, they provide specialized direct support to the USTRANSCOM Joint Transportation Corporate Information Management Center (JTCC) in the migration of the Defense Transportation Systems (DTS), operational and systems architectures, and the implementation of the Global Combat Support System (GCSS).
