The Commander of the Marine Corps Systems Command has established the Ombudsman position to provide ininformation to parties interested in business opportunities at MARCORSYCOM, serving as an advisor to the Commander on business issues affecting the Command, and ensuring that opportunities for competition are provided to all capable parties. It is the goal of Command Ombudsman to ensure the following:

  • Fair and equitable competition is provided to all parties seeking to do business with the Command, to the maximum extent possible;
  • To assist thoes parties in resolving problems and conflicts that arise in the course of interacting with the Command; and
  • To look at problems in an unbiased manner and to achieve a fair resolution for the parties involved.
Many initiatives are underway within the Command to improve business practices, assess the efficiency of our internal processes, and to improve our communications with industry. As such, the Ombudsman can provide information regarding upcoming contracting opportunities, discuss initiatives affecting the local economies within the region, and provide assistance identifying Command offices responsible for specific products and services.
