  MARCORSYSCOM

MARCORSYSCOM Commander

Our mission is to serve as the Commandant's principal agent

for equipping the Operating Forces to accomplish

  their warfighting mission.

The Marine Corps Systems Command has charted a course to world-class status in acquisition services.  Innovative business processes will serve as the cornerstones of our mission achievement as we provide and expertly manage the life cycle of quality systems and equipment for the operating forces.  We envision a high-performance staff operating in a professional environment based on our guiding principles of integrity, mutual respect, accountability, excellence, innovation, teamwork, customer-focus, and open communication.

The Marine Corps Systems Command has a single gateway that efficiently and effectively interfaces all command information systems.  For a look at our one-stop info shop, please visit our Total Information Gateway for Enterprise Resources (TIGER).

During 2002 and 2003, Command personnel are scheduled to move into completely renovated buildings located on a historic, picturesque point overlooking the water – our Acquisition Center for Excellence.  Built for business efficiency, and designed by the users, this facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art capabilities to better leverage the skills of the workforce.  Engineered to address human factors, the new facility includes on-site conveniences such as ATMs, open spaces with atrium natural lighting, enhanced security measures, gymnasium, modeling/simulation labs, and high-tech videoconferencing/audiovisual resources to optimize collaborative efforts.

MARCORSYSCOM is located 35 miles south of Washington, D.C., aboard Quantico Marine Corps Base, VA.  A Virginia Railway Express (VRE) station is located in close proximity to the new facilities.

MARCORSYSCOM is making an investment in education and training to improve key performance areas.  Consider joining an organization with expanded opportunities for employee growth and development.  Take a look at what we have to offer…
