PACIFIC AREA CATALOGUING SYSTEM MCRL MASTER CROSS REFERENCE LIST
(PACS MCRL) CD-ROM


The Pacific Area Cataloguing System Master Cross Reference List (PACS MCRL) CD-ROM product is designed for use by The Pacific Area Cataloguing System participants. It is used to obtain military logistics data. This product contains technical information on items of supply from the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

PACS MCRL is published semi-annually on two interactive discs which can be installed in either DOS or Windows (16 BIT and 32 BIT).

PACS MCRL contains the following technical data: National Stock Numbers (NSNs), Item Name, Part Numbers, Manufacturer's Codes and Addresses, Reference Number Category Code (RNCC), Reference Number Variation Code (RNVC), Reference Number Format Code (RNFC), Reference Number Status Code (RNSC), Reference Number Justification Code (RNJC), Reference Number Action Activity Code (RNAAC), and Major Organizational Entity (MOE) Rules.

PACS MCRL allows users to search by the following data elements: NATO Supply Code (NSC), National Item Identification Number (NIIN), National Codification Bureau (NCB) Code, Part Number, Manufacturer Code, Major Organizational Entity (MOE) Rule and Item Name.
