The National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) encompasses policies, standards, and procedures for organizations to cooperatively produce and share geospatial data. As an active participant in the NSDI, the USGS provides several pathways, collectively organized as the USGS Geospatial Data Clearinghouse, to information about its geospatial or spatially referenced data holdings. This site is the clearinghouse gateway to USGS national mapping and remotely sensed data.
