Introduction to the
Personnel Career Field Management Team
We have changed our name from the Personnel Civilian Career Program to
the Personnel Career Field Management Team. We have also changed our mission
focus. We are no longer responsible for issuing referrals for the centrally
managed positions. This workload has been transferred to HQ AFPC/DPC. As the
Personnel Career Field Management Team (PCFMT), we are tasked to execute
workforce development programs and policies as they are established by the
Personnel Career Field Manager (USAF/DP) and to assist in developing career
field policy and programs. Our primary functional areas of responsibility
are Workforce Management, Workforce Development, and Customer Service. The
resulting program addresses and incorporates training, education,
experiences, skills and knowledge to ensure that employees are prepared to
meet future Air Force leadership needs.
The Personnel Career Field envisions development of an Air Force
civilian workforce that is cross-functionally experienced and ready to
assume future Department of Defense leadership roles within the Personnel
functional communities. This is accomplished by providing entry-level
training, career broadening experiences and professional development
opportunities to a diverse population. |
