Introduction to the
Security Civilian Career Program
The Security Civilian Career Program (SECCCP) is managed by HQ
AFPC/DPKCS,
555 E Street West, Suite 1, Randolph AFB TX 78150-4530.
In general, Air Force employees in the GS-080 occupational series are
eligible to apply for the
approximately 1880 positions managed by the program. Employees at grade GS-5 and above in the Guard (0085), Police (0083) and Security Assistant
(0086) series are eligible to apply for positions they are qualified for. Those employees possess qualifying skills for referral to entry level
positions in the GS-080 series. All employees are eligible for referral to
managed positions for which they qualify, and for tuition assistance and other Career Program
sponsored training opportunities.

SECCCP List Server

The Security Civilian Career Program is running a list server. We will
send out messages covering a variety of issues relevant to you and your
career. But, YOU will have
to subscribe to the list server.
Subscribers to the SECCCP list server will automatically receive an email
message whenever new information is disseminated. Our current plans are to
use the list server for future SECCCP unusual job vacancy announcements,
career broadening opportunities, education and training opportunities, and
other SECCCP related information.
