Your Questions or Comments

Our purpose is to provide you as much information as possible and in a user-friendly way. We also want to be as responsive as we can be, but due to staffing shortfalls, we no longer can provide e-mail answers to your questions.

  1. Please select and read through the Questions page. Your question is likely already answered there. And we will be adding new information and links to better help you.

  2. Also please check the Index page. There are many links to subjects which may answer your questions.

  3. Historical Questions: For questions on Navy history, please check the Frequently Asked Questions on the web site of the Naval Historical Center at http://history.navy.mil.

  4. Navy personnel: Most personnel questions can be answered locally by your command career counselor, Personnel Support Activity/Detachment, Educational Services Office, or local administrative or disbursing office. Please check these offices. You may also wish to check the NAVPERS web site at http://www.persnet.navy.mil/

  5. Joining the Navy: For information on joining the Navy, your best bet is to speak with your local Navy recruiter whom you'll find listed in the "blue pages" of your local telephone book under "U.S. Government." Your local recruiter will have all the latest information on requirements and opportunities.

  6. Comments about the Web site only. You may send your comments about the Web site only to us via e-mail. Please do not send questions since we do not have any staff to answer them. [Please see our Privacy and Security notice prior to sending any e-mail.]
