EOS Science and Global Change Calendars for the Year of 2004

[EOS Science] SEEDS Working Group
January 8, 2004
A kick-off meeting for the first of the SEEDS Working Groups will be held Thursday, January 8, 2003. The working groups meeting that day are the Standards Working Group, the Metrics Planning and Reporting Working Group, the Technology Infusion Working Group, and the Reuse Working Group. These groups came about as a result of an ESE-sponsored study, the Strategic Evolution of Earth Science Enterprise Data Systems (SEEDS), and were highlighted in the recent Research, Education, and Applications Solutions Network (REASoN) solicitation. Information about the study and its recommendations is available at http://eos.nasa.gov/seeds. Information about the working groups and their proposed charters will also be available via the above link.
