AGRICOLA
Bibliographic database of citations to the agricultural literature created by the National Agricultural Library (NAL) and its cooperators. Production of these records in electronic form began in 1970, but the database covers materials in all formats, including printed works from the 15th century. The records describe publications and resources encompassing all aspects of agriculture and allied disciplines, including animal and veterinary sciences, entomology, plant sciences, forestry, aquaculture and fisheries, farming and farming systems, agricultural economics, extension and education, food and human nutrition, and earth and environmental sciences.

Online publications and journals published by the American Chemical Society. Subscriptions may be required to view the full text of articles and papers.

Abstracts from the society's journals and meetings since 1999.

National Library of Medicine's database covering the medical sciences. The database also covers related areas including some aspects of biology, environmental science, marine biology, plant and animal science as well as biophysics and chemistry.

TOXNET Hazardous Substances Databank (HSDB)
Toxicology data file on the National Library of Medicine's Toxicology Data Network (TOXNET). It focuses on the toxicology of potentially hazardous chemicals and is enhanced with information on human exposure, industrial hygiene, emergency handling procedures, environmental fate, regulatory requirements, and related areas.

TOXNET International Toxicity Estimates for Risk (ITER)
Toxicology data file on the National Library of Medicine's Toxicology Data Network (TOXNET). It contains data in support of human health risk assessments. It is compiled by Toxicology Excellence for Risk Assessment (TERA) and contains over 600 chemical records with key data from the Agency for Toxic Substances & Disease Registry (ATSDR), Health Canada, National Institute of Public Health & the Environment (RIVM) - The Netherlands, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and independent parties whose risk values have undergone peer review. ITER provides a comparison of international risk assessment information in a side-by-side format and explains differences in risk values derived by different organizations.

TOXNET Toxicology Bibliographic Info (TOXLINE)
The TOXLINE database is the National Library of Medicine's bibliographic database for toxicology, a varied science encompassing many disciplines. TOXLINE records provide bibliographic information covering the biochemical, pharmacological, physiological, and toxicological effects of drugs and other chemicals. It contains more than 3 million bibliographic citations, most with abstracts and/or indexing terms and CAS Registry Numbers.

TOXNET Toxic Release Inventory (TRI)
Annually compiled series of databases that constitute the toxic releases files on the National Library of Medicine's Toxicology Data Network (TOXNET). This series, 1995-2001 reporting years, contains information on the annual estimated releases of toxic chemicals to the environment and is based upon data collected by the Environmental Protection Agency. Mandated by the Superfund legislation, TRI's data covers air, water, land, and underground injection releases, as well as transfers to waste sites, and waste treatment methods and efficiency, as reported by industrial facilities around the United States.

U.S. Geological Survey Publications
This database provides access to the publications of the USGS and includes references to U.S. Geological Survey reports and maps published from 1880 to date, references to non-USGS publications with USGS authors published from 1983 to date, and 225 references to reports produced by the Hayden, King, Powell, and Wheeler surveys. The database contains more than 130,000 references.
