Mission
Statement
To deliver comprehensive HR advisory services including position classification, recruitment,
employee relations, benefits, and development programs, as well as transition/downsizing services. In addition
to the AAUSN Claimancy, service is provided to the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations and Washington metro
area detachments of Bureau of Naval Personnel and Naval Reserve Command. Total serviced civilian population of
over 3500, and their military chain of command. Included in that number are several hundred Naval Criminal
Investigative Service agents and support staff located with Naval units around the world and afloat.
To Provide a full range of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services
to the SECNAV claimancy. The Command Deputy EEO Officer (CDEEO) supports the AAUSN in his/her role as SECNAV
Equal Opportunity Officer by providing overall policy formulation and develops, implements, reviews and evaluates
all aspects of the AAUSN Claimancy EEO program. The CDEEO provides a full range of counseling and dispute resolution
services, resolving inquiries and complaints whenever possible at the informal level, and processes formal complaints
for the SECNAV Claimancy as required.
