Benefits Enrollment has gone PAPERLESS!!

With the deployment of the DoN Employee Benefits Information System (EBIS) and the recent opening of the HR Call Center, all employee benefits transactions can be accepted and processed in a paperless environment.  Beginning 1 November 2003, the HR Service Center will not accept paper forms to make TSP, FEHB, and FEGLI changes (note:  this does not apply to those transactions previously made directly with TSP).  Changes will have to be made using either the Employee Benefits Information System (EBIS) or the Benefits Line (1-888-320-2917). 

The only exception is that Beneficiary designations will still be made by completing and submitting the appropriate form. Beneficiary forms can be downloaded from EBIS or the HRSC-NW web page at http://www.donhr.navy.mil/nw/Benefits/BenefDesg.asp#form.   

Any TSP, FEGLI, or FEHB forms received by the HR Service Center after 31 October 2003 will be returned to the employee.  If forms are received in SHHRO after that date, we will notify the employee of the change and either return the form to the employee, or destroy the form at the request of the employee.  Please contact your employee relations specialist if you have any questions.
