Reconnecting Youth & Community
provides guidance to youth service providers, community leaders,
and policymakers about how they can help communities shift from
a problem-focused approach to serving youth to a community-youth
involvement model. This publication provides an overview of
youth development and offers strategies for implementing a youth
development approach at the local level. It also provides
steps for implementing a campaign to promote positive images of
young people and ideas for involving youth and the community in
that process.
