If you have an interest in scientific discovery, and Mars in particular, and would like to share it with others in your community, simply email the Team NASA Volunteer Manager. The Mars Exploration Rover missions are ambitious and fascinating journeys of exploration.
As they gather key scientific information and return dramatic images from their travels across the surface of Mars, they will surely capture the interest and imagination of the public.
NASA Ames is addressing the public's desire to know more about these missions and to share in the experience of discovery.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers that want to participate in this mission of discovery. We will have morning, afternoon, early evening and Saturday shifts.
Bay area schools will be attending Mondays through Fridays. The general public will be attending more in the early evenings and Saturdays.
