Child support enforcement agencies are responsible for establishing and enforcing health insurance orders for child support cases when coverage is available and reasonable or expected to become available.

Lump Sum Reporting

Employers must notify the North Dakota Child Support Enforcement program before making any lump sum payment of $1,000 or more to an employee if the employer has received from the North Dakota Child Support Enforcement program an income withholding order that includes an amount for past-due support.

Penalities, Late Fees, and Sanctions For Noncompliance with Child Support Enforcement Requirements

Employers that do not comply with requirements regarding income withholding, lump sum reporting, new hire reporting, National Medical Support Notices, or Requests for Information may be subject to various penalties, late fees, or sanctions under state law.

North Dakota's Child Support Enforcement Program has implemented a secure website for use by employers who are required to remit income withholding payments to North Dakota's State Disbursement Unit (SDU).

Active Military Duty

Even though the employee is called to active military duty, the employer must retain the income withholding order so that withholding can resume when the employee returns to work.

Requests for Information by Child Support Enforcement

About the Ohio's Most Wanted Poster

e-QuickPay Debit MasterCard Card
